Species

PRC has worked with various bird species in Hawaii and the Pacific region, including seabirds, forest birds, and wetland birds, and occasionally with the Hawaiian hoary bat.

These species accounts provide information about each species’ distribution, status, estimated population size, ecology, conservation, and cultural importance, how PRC has been involved, and links to other information sources.
